
So. It has come to my attention that this pic of Sir Christopher was taken in 1944, during the liberation of Rome. More specifically it was taken at the Vatican.
You don’t send Christopher Lee to free the Vatican unless he’s the leader of a squad of player characters hunting down Nazi occultists who have got their filthy mitts on some pretty powerful relics. You just don’t.
if you want more usefull stuff, Sir Christopher was a RAF intelligence officer and in the liberated Rome he met his mother’s cousin, the noble Nicolò Carandini, who had fought in the Italian resistance movement. The Holy Lance in Rome was (and still is) preserved beneath the dome of Saint Peter’s Basilica, Hitler had already taken possession of the Holy Lance of Vienna so…..
