Dress with Pockets

Wondrous item. Varies (uncommon – legendary)

This otherwise mundane yet stylish sundress has pockets that lead to an extra dimensional space much larger than the dress itself. These dresses come in different varieties and rarities depending on the dimensions of the storage space and the protection offered to the wearer.

The two pockets on either hip have a six inch opening that leads into an extra dimensional space. If the dress is over loaded, pierced, or torn, it ruptures and is destroyed, and it’s contents scattered in the Astral plane. Should the wearer be complimented on this dress and not immediately respond “Thanks! It has pockets!” all contents within the dress are lost, ejected into the Astral plane.

Breathing creatures placed inside the pocket-space can survive up to the number of minutes equal to 10 divided by the number of creatures (minimum 1 minute) after which they begin to suffocate.

Uncommon (440gp) the dress has two pockets that lead to space that can hold up to 2 cubic feet of material and up to 60 pounds. Equal to two backpacks.

Rare (2,218gp) this dress has two pockets that lead to space that can hold up to 3 cubic feet of material up to 100 pounds.

While not wearing armor this dress gives the wearer +1 bonus to AC.

Very rare (18,344gp) This dress has three pockets one at each hip and one at the bodice, that lead to an extra dimensional space 4 feet across and 6 feet deep that can store up to 400 pounds of material.

While not wearing armor this dress gives the wearer a +2 bonus to AC.

Legendary (50,000+gp) The dress to end all dresses has a many as five pockets that can be relocated anywhere on the dress during a short rest. The extra dimensional space inside can hold up to 2,000 pounds of material in a 10ft cube.

While not wearing armor, this dress gives the wearer a +3 bonus to AC.

As an action, the wearer can flourish the skirt of the dress to deposit and subsequently reveal one item no bigger than 5ft on any side on the ground before them.
